The Puppet Dove was one of the Birds Roger designed and built for Moscow Ballet's "Nutcracker" that tours USA.
Because Moscow Ballet uses the birds on exclusively indoor stages, he was able to give the bird very soft wings. The puppet birds used in outdoor parades normally need stiffer wings so that they are not too effected by wind.
