Mask Moose

Mask - Moose

The Moose was one of the Masks representing the creatures of Finland. The Moose was part of the Helsinki Festival project in 2011 where workshops were set up around the city and the public was provided with the ready cut parts and glue. We had tutors to explain the step-by-step process and assist where needed.

Buffalo

Creatures - Buffalo

These Buffalo's were originally designed and Built for Linz09 in Austria.

They were also made for a theater production in the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. This story was based on a viral YouTube clip about a herd of Buffalo saving one of their carves from a Crocodile in the Kruger National park.

Stag

Mammal - Stag

This Stag puppet was part of the Opera "Orfeo & Majnun" that travelled to many cities around Europe from 2018 until Covid forced the production to a halt.

Covered Camels

In late 2025 we built 3 camel puppets for Ornina Arts in Dubai.

These three camel puppets were made to be operated outdoor over a long period. They were covered in fabric to make them more durable and dirt resistant..

Holiday on Ice Skeletons

In 2025 we built 3 skeleton puppets for the famous ice skating show, "Holiday on Ice".

These lightweight puppet skeletons represented the Spanish/Mexican "Night of the Dead" festival.

Cirque du Soleil Cow - 2024

In 2024 we were approached by Nicholas Mahon to create a large longhorn cow puppet and a mounted singing head for a Cirque du Soleil production.

We decided to give this puppet a covering of fleece fabric then spray and spatter on the coloured dyes.

Nana

Tiny Tim who we built for Afrikaburn in 2023 returned to the road as "Nana" in 2024.

Nana appeared in Johannesburg, Oudtshoorn, George and Cape Town, then crossed the oceans to appear in Austria and Spain. She has now settled in Spain with the BRAVA Arts company.
This puppet on a tricycle is almost 5 Meters tall and is operated by one person. The vehicle is powered by a 24v wheelchair motor.
